The More I Listen to Democrats…

leave a comment »

…the more I hear the sound of muskets, firing in the distance.

Sometimes, I wish I just didn’t give a care about what the Democrats did, said, and how the whole lot of them are screwing up our Republic. Sometimes I wish I had a nickel for every time I got angry because of something that Reid, Obama, or Pelosi said or how they abuse their power by railroading Congress further and further out of control while the president pushes laws outside of his constitutional allowance.

Problem is, I care too much. I care because my kids are going to grow up in a country where socialism’s tendrils begin to infiltrate the very fabric of our country. I see how the Democrats keep ram-rodding laws down our throat and then reneging on those laws because they aren’t liking the political effect. I see how Democrats are trying to manipulate the law to shove more of their progressive nonsense down our throats, to the point where I just want to throw up on them.

And then I hear shots go off.

Maybe I’m going insane. Maybe I’ve been watching movies like The Patriot too many times and wondering how long it would take the Founding Fathers before they would march into the Capitol and pull these crooks out in irons.  How hard would Debbie Wasserman Schultz get slapped for her stupidity if she were faced with the likes of Betsy RossMargaret Corbin, or Sybil Ludington. And how low would President Obama slink down when standing in the face of great presidential figures like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson, who would tell him, “Son, you are the kind of person we wrote a constitution to prevent from taking power”.

And then another shot goes off.

I’m not ready for another revolution, at least with arms just yet, but how long are we going to sit here before the eaters, those mindless drones who are connected to the government teat while liberals gleefully giggle and control the rate of flow at the entitlement spigot? How long before

Why am I a conservative? Because I believe in conserving our liberty, our freedoms, and our republic. These are not things to spend on entitlements, but rather, things to be protected from all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Perhaps until the shots start going off because the people are growing tired of tyranny and treason from the people who are elected to be in office.

An Open Letter to Rev. Al Sharpton

leave a comment »

Dear Rev. Sharpton:

Today, you’re marching around Washington DC to talk about how the movement towards black equality that Dr. King preached hasn’t gone as far as you would like.  I’m not sure what you’re talking about, since blacks can do anything they put their hearts to doing.  Yet, you continue to display deeply disturbing character for a man who calls himself “Reverend”.

It really is disturbing how much rhetoric you unnecessarily throw out there these days, trying to sell us all on the fact that the problem of so-called racism while the greatest majority of the white and Hispanic population don’t have a problem with accepting blacks.

Bill Cosby has a better grip on what’s going on in the black community than you do.

Today, a startling 73% of all African-American babies born are born out of wedlock to single mothers.  With words like “baby-momma” and “baby-daddy” as part of the everyday vernacular, the question is not about acceptance of black people, but a condemnation of black “morality”.

Today, lyrics to rap music promote behavior that is absolutely atrocious by any standard of civilized man.  You talk about how “white people in their caves, while black people were building empires”.  Yet today, black people seem to be less interested in furthering their cause by minding their “content of their character”, as Dr. King so eloquently put forth.  You rail on how society has to keep building jails, but refuse to condemn the staggering amount of black crime going on.  Yet, you blame this on blacks not having access to meaningful employment.

No man gets a pass to do evil because of his environment.

Any black man can rise above his bonds and be an equal, but he must take it.  We are all born equal, but we don’t live life that way.  If a black man wants to be president, he can be – this has been proven – although the man in there is a terrible president because he simply does not understand what real liberty is.  What the lot of blacks that you are defending want isn’t liberty or equality, it’s entitlement – they don’t want the opportunity; they want the rewards without the effort.  The ones that don’t make excuses for the way they live are the ones that I am proud to call my equal – because they live moral lives and work hard to help themselves and their common man.

But you, sir, don’t talk about any of that.  Instead, you blame all of your problems on white society and a history long since gone.  Didn’t you forget that it was white Republicans that fought for emancipation and white Democrats that fought against it?  Yet you ally yourself with, what Senator Elbert Guillory calls, “the party of the overseers.”

Perhaps it’s time that you, yourself, clean up your own backyard before you start digging in on everyone else.

First, you go on record saying that there “is nothing to protest” about a “random” black-on-white attack where Chris Lane lost his life.  But if you actually read your bible like a good little preacher should, you would find that any murder is worth protest, because it is all wrong in the eyes of God.

You’ve been completely silent over the very recent death of Mr. Delbert Belton.  Are you going to attribute your silence over the fact that it was just “a random act” with “no reason to protest” too?  I guarantee you would be on a plane if the murder was a black WWII veteran beaten down by white thugs – even IF it were random.

Your outcry about Trayvon Martin was wholly directed at proving that George Zimmerman killed Martin out of racist motives, yet, despite his own testimony and the court testimonies, you push it away, dismissing it out of hand, because a black kid was shot.  Did you also forget that Zimmerman was Hispanic, yet you blamed the white community, as you always do.

What about last year when you asked Bill O’Reilly for a grant for the kids in Harlem because your charity was broke.  He wrote you a grant for $25,000 yet you still rail on him.  Oh, because of all the gutter talk, right?  Well, you would know gutter talk, because you’ve used the words, “cracker”, “Chinaman”, “Greek homos”, and “white people in caves”.  For a man who is supposed to be filled with God’s spirit and his words, I see more gutter-chatter than what should come from a man of God.

A couple of years ago, during the Wisconsin State Fair, a mob attack broke out where blacks openly threw racist remarks at the white folks they attacked. Yet where were you? Where were you and Jesse Jackson – where was your outrage?

Let’s rewind the tape further back – in 2007, Don Imus was fired (after your yammering) because he called the Rutgers Basketball team “nappy-headed ho’s”, yet your attack just a few weeks later against Mitt Romney and how “those that really believed in God would defeat him”, attacking his faith was generally ignored.

We’re all STILL waiting for you to recant your remarks towards Mario Cuomo regarding Tawana Brawley’s hoax rape allegations.

There are many more instances here.  But they have a word for this behavior, sir – hypocrisy.

It’s time for you and people like you to go away – retire on whatever pathetic laurels you have left.  Retire your old, outdated arguments and allow us in the 21st century, red, yellow, black and white* to realize the dream of equality, not the race-pimping and attention-whoring that you and Jesse Jackson do so well.

We’re so done listening to your moronic rhetoric.

To my friends and new followers on Twitter,

Stay rabid, my friends.

Democrats Politicizing Tragedy – Again

leave a comment »

First, all of us at The Rabid Conservative, writers and readers alike would like to express our deepest prayers and expressions of concern to the folks in Oklahoma City that have been affected by the tornadoes this week.  May God bless and comfort you during this time as our country stands up to help wherever it can.

That being said, I would like to take this time to deal out some castigation for Senator Sheldon Whitehouse D-RI, who decided to use this tragedy as a platform to rail against the GOP regarding so-called global warming.  Instead of just simply offering his sympathy and support, this Democrat decided to rant:

“You drag America with you to your fate. So, I want this future: I want a Republican Party that has returned to its senses and is strong and a worthy adversary in a strong America that has done right by its people and the world. That’s what I want. I don’t want this future. I don’t want a Republican Party disgraced, that let its extremists run off the cliff, and an America suffering from grave economic and environmental and diplomatic damage because we failed, because we didn’t wake up and do our duty to our people, and because we didn’t lead the world. I do not want that future. But that’s where we’re headed. So I will keep reaching out and calling out, ever hopeful that you will wake up before it is too late.”

You unbelievable scumbag.  While we all have our differences regarding things like the economy. diplomacy abroad as well as domestic matters, talking about the so-called ‘fiscal cliff’, and the like, this is not the time to attack the GOP.  Seriously?  How dare you dishonor those who died with your political diatribe?

And this thing may not yet be over.  This area may still have more of these to deal with, and rather than sounding calls to help those people, you sit in your nice Washington office and gripe at your political opponents while people are asking for aid – saying we’re ‘in this together’:

“So, you may have a question for me. Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care if we Republicans run off the climate cliff like a bunch of proverbial lemmings and disgrace ourselves? I’ll tell you why. We’re stuck in this together. We are stuck in this together. When cyclones tear up Oklahoma and hurricanes swamp Alabama and wildfires scorch Texas, you come to us, the rest of the country, for billions of dollars to recover. And the damage that your polluters and deniers are doing doesn’t just hit Oklahoma and Alabama and Texas. It hits Rhode Island with floods and storms. It hits Oregon with acidified seas, it hits Montana with dying forests. So, like it or not, we’re in this together.”

You offend me, sir.  These folks don’t need your rants – they need prayers and support.  If we are so much “in it together”, then when can we expect that you will arrive in Oklahoma to help the people there?

Yeah, we didn’t think so either.

Note to Democrats: Obama Doesn’t Need You Anymore

leave a comment »

With That One being elected for a second term and now basically running rampant with his own agenda, blowhard hot-air bags like Debbie Wasserman Schultz are griping (as if this moonbat ever stops) at Obama and his decision to launch his own PAC, given that he has enough cult following, government-siphoning ObamacCrats to do so.

It’s funny though that DWS couldn’t see this coming – that as soon as Obama was settled into his second term, he would basically do his own thing.  The GOP was very much indicating this all through the 2012 elections.  The GOP has been indicating a lot of things, but it’s not much of a wonder that the Democrats weren’t listening.

Perhaps they should have been paying better attention to this one.  With Obama’s new “Organizing for Action”, Obama’s objective has been, as it always has, about “fundamentally transforming the United States of America”.  Democrats aren’t really about that – but rather, are about keeping and maintaining political power.  The motivations seem to be diverging now and with Obama not needing the DNC, he’s free to do whatever he likes.

I wonder if this was one of these “going my way” situations that have now diverged. The Dems made Obama and now…well….he doesn’t need them anymore.

Anyone Still Think Democrats Believe in Liberty?

leave a comment »

In the light of Sandy Hook, the Lib-crats have been up in arms against the right to bear arms.  And despite the fact that the law says “not infringed”, which means no violation or encroachment of the exclusive right, the socialists in Washington take the steps to divest Americans of owning weapons, by infringing on the types of weapons and ammunition that they may own.

ImageBut now, we have a Democrat in the Illinois State Senate who believes that liberties and freedoms of the First Amendment needs a little paring back. State Senator Ira Silverstein has dropped the Internet Posting Removal Act that says that if requested, a website administrator to remove all comments from people who are not willing to reveal their identity.

Now we all have to deal with trolls on the net.  In most cases, they are a general nuisance because they don’t add anything of any real benefit to an otherwise intellectual conversation.  Thing is, the Constitution prevents the federal Congress from making rules against any speech, including speech lacking in intellectual merit.

Since Silverstein’s work only applies to the state of Illinois, his bill has no effect on the federal level.  But he wants to be able to arm-twist a web administrator to preventing people from posting anonymously or under a pseudonym.

Why?  What’s the big deal with the trolls anyway?  As annoying as they are, it’s not like anything that they say is really that harmful.  Sometimes, they are funny.  And heaven knows we get our own share of trolls out here – mostly liberals and spam bots.

Unless, this has nothing to do with mindless trolls or ghost writers, but rather, people who raise critical points against elected officials who can’t handle the criticism – which would make more sense to me.

And from what I hear of Mr. Silverstein, his skin is transparently thin.  What are you afraid of, Ira?  Or does the free exercise of liberty make you shake in your wingtips?

Lib-Crat Sour Grapes?

leave a comment »

So, if Obama loses, there are going to be riots.  Sorry, I’m not impressed.  Sounds to me like a bunch of whiny brats who didn’t get their way, so they are going to cause a tantrum and go into civil unrest.

These people don’t believe in American ideals.  That’s right, I said it.

We all sat back and watched in 2006 and 2008 when the Democrats had some pretty sweeping victories. And when that happened, while conservatives and Republicans that were clearly disappointed with these outcomes, there weren’t riots.  Those on the right were civil and have mobilized over the last four years to get Obama out of of office.  That’s the idea behind political mobilization.

However, these idiots don’t believe that way.  Instead, they threaten to riot and cause civil unrest if they don’t get their way within the system.  However, in 2006 and 2008, they were talking about the “will of the people” and how “the people have spoken.

Well, the people are speaking again and many of them are saying something different.  What does this say about the left?

Yeah, I thought so.
