Mr. Frumpi is Back – Gun Bill Goes Down in Flames

with 2 comments

Today, Obama showed Americans how very un-presidential he was.  No matter how a particular vote goes down, getting all mad and calling members of his own constituency “liars”, to me, is so unprofessional and so “sour grapes” that it eschews anything relating to the concept of “gracious statesman”.

After all, we didn’t see this kind of behavior with the lobbyists who support positions that agree with the President’s radical “fundamental-change” doctrine.  He doesn’t rail on about the lies told by the Pro-Choice movements regarding the definition of life.  He doesn’t talk about all the ObamaCare lies, how we won’t get to keep the health plans that we have and how costs will drop, even though Sebelius has gone on record saying they are going up.  No, the President doesn’t angrily denounce those liars.  But he attacks the NRA.

Why?  Because the NRA is in opposition to the ObamaAd Agenda.

So, sorry Mr. Frumpi, you’re anger is nothing more than crocodile tears, because of your hypocrisy and inconsistency.

Business Idea: Become an Ammo Manufacturer

leave a comment »

ImageWith all the stupidity that the liberals are spewing about guns these days and with the Department of Homeland Security scarfing up 1.6 billion rounds without any explanation (and DHS needs to be held to account on this – if our Congress actually had a spine enough to call Big Sis to the carpet), there is a serious hole in the availability of ammo and as the prices rise, police departments are feeling the pinch.

I feel sorry only for some of them though. I don’t feel sorry at all for any police department, for example, in New York State where now people are being offered bribes of $500 to turn in people who have so-called illegal weapons. I agree with the scores of ammunition and supply manufactures who are now refusing to sell to government entities who are violating the Second Amendment and infringing on the right to bear arms. So, cops, if you are in a state that is passing ridiculous gun laws and you’re short on ammo, perhaps you should take the matter to your state assemblies, because they are the ones responsible for you not having the tools to do your jobs.

But, for other states that aren’t trying to violate the Second Amendment (and the Fourth in New York’s case), there is a golden…no…cupric opportunity – if you can get in business and start pumping out the ammo. With nine-month waiting lists, I think our cops are going to have to use BB’s, AirSoft guns, or paintball markers for training and target practice.

Newtown, CT School Board Calls for More Armed Officers

leave a comment »

The folks at Newtown are calling for the one thing that will actually reduce gun violence – armed protection.  Pro-gun advocates have been rightly saying that, when you remove guns from the hands of law-abiding citizens, the only ones with guns are the law-breaking citizens.  The Founders rightly knew that people, left unchecked in their own devices, would seek to do wrong.  I wonder how many of those kids at Sandy Hook would be alive right now if there was a trained and armed security officer in the school at the time of the shooting.

The Newtown board has asked for more armed police officers in the schools.  Good.  It’s about time.  They are being pressured by parents to make things safer, and it seems quite obvious that liberal idealism and giving up of arms isn’t the way it’s going to happen.  There is idealism – and then there are facts and reality.  The libs are clearly on the wrong side of this issue – and always have been.

We see in Atlanta that a school shooting could have gone much worse than a 14-year old kid getting grazed by having an armed officer disarm the shooter, particularly when the metal detector failed to identify that the shooter was armed.

The liberals can continue to pontificate on how bad guns are and, how outdated and unnecessary that the Second Amendment is.  They can attempt to infringe on the liberties afforded in the Constitution, but in the end, our case continues to be proven correct.

After all, why do we arm our police?  And if we put armed security to protect our money, why is it such a bad thing to put armed security to protect our children?

Schooldaze: Suspending Kids for Being Kids

leave a comment »

Every time I look at an article like this, all I can say is that I am so glad and blessed that our family home schools our kids.  With all the delirium going on after the whole Sandy Hook shooting, it seems that a new tragedy is forming – out-of-control paranoia and liberal over-sensitivity.

So, in another stellar example of how stupid people can be, a school in Hyannis, MA threatened to suspend a five-year old kid because he made a gun out of LEGO’s and started chasing his classmates with it.

“We’re trying to create an atmosphere of respect,” says Barnstable School Superintendent Mary Czajkowski.  The principal noted, “it’s a threat to other children and other children could have been scared.’”

Respect is one thing, but this is so far over the top that it would be laughable if it wasn’t true.  Listen up, Mary, you’re not teaching respect, you’re teaching kids to be incapable of handling even the slightest problems.

ImageAnd then there are several schools in Maryland where students are being suspended for playing “war” and making finger guns.

It’s funny; these kids could whip their teacher the middle finger and they get suspended or just a stern talking to by the principal, but if they make a finger-gun, “bang” they’re suspended from school.  Can these sissies get any more lame and stupid?

The thing is, this wimpification of our society today driven by over-emotional liberalism, political correctness, and a severe inability to be tolerant is the real problem.  I’ve mentioned before that the shootings in schools are indeed tragic and I don’t mean to downplay them.  But now is not the time to throw our gumption and courage out of the window for fear of being offended.

This is nothing new.  Liberals and socialists (sounds like redundancy to me), have, for years, reached into the schools to perform what Robert Small wrote in the Washington Times as “moral disarmament”.  Erode the principles of liberty and freedom and replace it with collectivism, socialism, social justice, and other wuss nonsense and the Democrats are filled with fresh drones to pull the lever for the next Barack Obama.

Now I am not an advocate for child abuse or anything, but today, our society seriously lacks coping skills.  We have reached a point where every little life problem is solved through medication.  We teach our kids to be unable to handle the harshness of life in a way that makes them as delicate as a Dresden doll.  Instead of teaching kids how to put on their “big boy/big girl pants”, we are doing diaper changes well past their toddler years.

So when these kids reach early adulthood, they don’t know how to handle life – except through violent media and gangsta rap, which teaches people that if they don’t like the police, they can shoot them.  And we call that crap art, er, First Amendment.

Even though these same idiots who believe in preserving the First Amendment are all about trashing the Second Amendment.

And these schools are the cesspools where liberalism festers and grows like a fungus on our children.  How sad.

China Should Outlaw Cars and Knives

with 2 comments

This article almost escaped my notice, but luckily, I was able to catch it and get it posted. Turns out some Chinese dude in Beijing drove his car into some middle-school students, injuring 13.  He was upset over how a court ruled in the murder of his daughter that he felt it necessary to mow over some kids.Image

Now this is no laughing matter.  Whether it’s in the US or in China, when kids get torn up by some psycho, we all grieve – they are the innocent ones.  Luckily, there were no fatalities in this incident.

But this article also demonstrates that it didn’t take a gun to bring danger to children.  The article also cites that because guns are not allowed by the Chi-Com government, knives are the weapon of choice.  On Dec 14, 23 elementary school kids were stabbed in another spree.

So, because of this, the Chinese government should begin the process of outlawing cars and knives (as well as firecrackers, since those were used in this latest incident).  Since we’re all currently hell-bent on believing that outlawing things (such as guns) will reduce the amount of violence against the innocent, I am forced to now conclude that cars and knives are as dangerous as guns and therefore should also be outlawed.

Yeah, I can hear all you libs now, going off about my latest absurdity illustration, but if we’re going to be consistent, then let the outlawing begin.

The End of the World – Fail

leave a comment »

December 21, 2012 – the day that all things were supposed to end and the apocalypse was to begin.  In this cited article, detailing the events as they happen, we see the fringe lunatic kooks out there, hunkered down, waiting for the end of everything.

Well, the sun rose this morning to a nice clear and briskly cold day to mark the first day of winter, for today is also the winter solstice – and with just three more shopping days before Christmas and the US economy barreling full long towards the so-called fiscal cliff, while the lib-crats in Washington trying to upend the Second Amendment while avoiding the hard questions about who really knew what about Benghazi, I sit in my office.  It’s quiet.

Sometimes I wish the Mayans were right.  Perhaps I’ve truly had enough of all the crap in the world – how those in Washington really don’t care about us in America.  They say they do, but only to advance their own personal and political agendas.  I’ve definitely had enough with this notion that because of the size of an ammo magazine or how many rounds a gun can fire, that somehow, that’s the reason why 20 kids died in a school and 12 in a movie theater (as if the death of just one doesn’t already make the act horrific enough).  Instead of blaming the person behind the trigger, we blame the  weapon and forget that psychos don’t need guns to kill people (anyone ever hear of Jack the Ripper or Ted Bundy?)

I guess I’m just tired today.  It’s really hard to get into the Christmas spirit with all of this junk around and the dipsticks that promulgate it.

Stupid Chi-Coms Demand American Disarmament – Liberals Agree

leave a comment »

ImageI am really glad I live in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, unlike the Chinese who are part of the Land of the Oppressed.  And even though the Second Amendment is very much still a part of American law, it’s surprising that we even acknowledge how the Chinese want us to disarm. But more so, how our own liberal counterparts don’t care about what the Constitution says.  So here, I post the Second Amendment in its entirety.

A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

So-called Liberals don’t believe in liberty because they are, this week, on the warpath about getting rid of people’s rights to own weapons.

But does it not surprise us that the greatest number of the shootings in the last couple of decades involving the deaths of more than three people occur in so-called gun-free zones?  The movie theater in Aurora, CO, Sandy Creek elementary school last week,  Columbine in Colorado…see what I mean?  They go to where they won’t get shot at.  In other words, do we know of any mass shootings going on in police stations?

We had one on a military base, but all of the soldiers’ weapons were in the arms room.

Heck…I’ve posted a long list of incidents at the end of this post.

ImageThing is, gun control laws don’t solve the problem.  In most every situation, the person doing the shooting was crazed and was carrying a gun where they weren’t allowed anyway.  The problem is not the laws, but the people doing the killing.  No gun control law can prevent a person from snapping and going on a killing spree.

These crazies attack and kill because of the real problem – lack of morality, standards, and this belief that the world owes them something.  When someone starts slaughtering people, it’s not because he had access to firearms – the problem began long before the dude picked up a gun.

So, liberals, leave my guns alone.  Just because you can’t read the Constitution doesn’t mean I won’t exercise my Second Amendment rights to protect myself from your tyranny.

It’s all about Freedom.  Live Free or Die.
